What to wear?? Black dress or leggings with a sport shirt

What would u wear to go see a movie with a guy (first date) you met online? 
Edit: I have a comfortable black dress (a bit above the knee with long sleeves) that I’m thinking about wearing

It’s just the movies, so something comfortable and casual but still “nice” looking.

Wear a dress. Something above the knee but not raunchy. Bring a jacket so you aren’t too cold in the theater. Light on the jewelry. No heels, but wedges are ok. You’re trying to strike that balance of casual - cause it’s a movie and you don’t know if you like the guy - and dressy because it’s a date and you want to make the effort and have him think you’re hot.

I typically wear my nicer leggings and a cute tshirt type top when i go to the movies but ive never been on a date to the movies 😂 I just like to be comfy and warm since theaters are typically cold and i like to sit with my legs folded on the seat sometimes.
