What to do🤔

Question

So I’ve heard that when u take your birth control pill and throw up or have diarrhea the BC will come out of u so it won’t work. 
So what do u do if that happens? Without messing up your BC.

It’s if its within a certain time frame.  
If so, it’s counted as a missed pill and you follow the directions in your packet as to what to do when you miss a pill

I don’t think it works that way. 
If you throw up immediately after swallowing your birth control pill, that could be a possibility if said pill comes up with the mess. By the time you would get diarrhea, the pill will have gone through your system and will be in your body.

When I was on birth control I used to throw up if I didn’t eat that day or drank too much sugary stuff. If you’ve been on it for awhile throwing it up one day won’t mess you up. Once I stopped it took at least 2 months to get the birth control out of my system. Usually takes a full month. If you miss one day here or there it won’t affect anything just continue to take it as normal.

If you throw up or have multiple episodes of watery stool within I believe 2 hours (it might be 4) the pill is ineffective. The pamphlet advises you take another pill. Although id probably wait until whatever is wrong with your stomach passes so it’s not wasted.
