Today my mom and I went looking for baby items and stumbled across the second hand store Once Upon a Child. This is my 1st child and my husband and I are on a budget. My mom purchased 20 onesies for $20 and I brought a couple of items for $6. We both thought that it was a STEAL. Unfortunately my husband did not feel the same. He feels that he never wore hand me downs so why should his child. Nothing I said was alleviating his strong opinions. I feel like they're only onesies which the baby will wear in the house and for outside clothes we'd get new items. These clothes were also good b/c they were unisex clothing since we're not finding out the gender and asking for clothes not to be purchased for the baby shower. Am I missing something with my husbands refusal to allow us to keep the clothes? I'm trying to understand his viewpoint and respect his feelings but...😒
