TTC tips on how to get pregnant

Hi my name is Carly I’m 19 almost 20. I was pregnant when I was 16, and had a miscarriage. Now it seems to be very difficult to get pregnant. My periods are also very irregular. Any tips? I was on birth control which helped regulate it, I just stopped taking it because I want to get pregnant.
