Anyone else HATE their in-laws?

I can NOT stand my in-laws! They are selfish, greedy, two-faced, overbearing pains in my ass! Unfortunately, my husband defends and stands by his family more often than not. We’ve been together 5 years now and I have brought up numerous times on how I HATE that they just pop over unannounced whenever they want (my husband sails so he’s only home about 4 months out of the year). So, it’s just me, and they refuse to give me the respect and curtesy I keep asking for: just call or text before pooping over. My husband doesn’t think it’s that big of a deal, so he doesn’t push to defend my wishes. They’re is so much more that they do that I can not physically type out because I can feel my stomach knotting just thinking about them. Anyone else going through the same thing? I come from a family of divorce and I don’t want to go that route, but I hate feeling like this. I hate not having his support and I hate his family. I don’t know what to do....
