Yes our son has been in it for a few months now because he’d try and climb out of his crib constantly

My daughter learned to climb out of her crib and I got so scared we immediately converted her crib

I knew when my son was in a good sleeping habit, I can lay him down and he will go to sleep. I didn’t wait for him to try and climb out of his crib because all I could picture was him cracking his head open or snapping his neck. I do put up a gate at his door Incase he wakes up at night because when he sees the gate he just runs back to bed and goes to sleep. He was 18 months when I switched

My daughter has great sleep routines, so I felt like she could handle switching.  I wanted to transition early in this pregnancy just in case it took longer than I thought.  She was 16 months old.  Personally, I bought the dockatot grand (we’d used the smaller deluxe as a baby) and I put it in her crib (not recommended by the company though!). I wanted her to get used to sleeping in that (so 2 nights) and then I put it in a toddler bed.  It was like she never noticed! She almost seemed to young to realize the freedom she had and she just stays put.  She even sits up and waits for me to come get her in the mornings. It was super easy and I stressed over nothing!!

I’m keeping him in the crib for as long as possible. He loves his crib, he plays in it before falling asleep and after waking for usually an hour, I can’t let that go 😂 
Until he’s potty trained I don’t think there’s a need to transition, and since we moved his crib mattress to blocks on the floor we should have a while before he can climb out again 🙌🏻😂
I’ve talked to him while snuggling in my bed/the guest bed about giving up his crib to move to a big boy bed and he’s always looked shocked and concerned, so he’s not in a hurry either 😂

Lol! I've switched to a twin sized bed. We skipped toddler entirely.

We switched at 18 months bc we are expecting another baby any time now. Our room and the boys room are attached so it makes it easy to keep an eye on him. The transition went well he loves his toddler bed and when he wakes up in the morning he runs to our room and climbs in bed and cuddles with us 😊

Yes and No. he had a toddler bed in his “big brother room” but he still sleeps in his crib. He has slept in his toddler bed every weekend due to it being at my moms before. But I’m not fully moving him to it until his baby sister is ready to move out of her bassinet.
