Period pain

I had the worst period cramp yesterday. I couldn't move and I had to stand there doubled over until the pain receded. There was a huge blood clot. Nothing I've seen before. Like bigger than my usual ones. And I was hurting so bad I started crying. Does anyone else get this type of pain?
