What’s going on?

Okay question ladies, I am suppose to start my period today according to apps. But I been spotting for almost 5 days today and having a feeling on my left side/ pelvic area kinda like ovulation pinching but it’s way too early for that I am 17DPO/CD28 today. Once in a while when I wipe it’s a little darker but mostly pink. I have had a liner on and nothing except when I wipe 🤷‍♀️ I took a test Monday and it was negative. TIA
