Starting IVF questions

Ki

Hi,

I’ve done four IUIs and I think it’s time to move on to IVF. My husband is subfertile according to his last two SA that were December 2017 and March 2018. I called our infertility office about moving forward with IVF. It’ll be more expensive but I only pay $45 for each month with an IUI. My insurance does the rest. We have a back-up flex plan that reimburses us for medical expenses (they reimbursed for my $5,000+ bed, my parents’ $10,000 hot tub, etc). I’m still on my parents’ plan until January. I believe as long as the receipt has a medical facility’s name and whatnot, we would be reimbursed. They even pay for my dog’s vet bills and her food because my counselor wrote to them about how my dog calms me and helps with my depression.

Even if we didn’t get it back, I would still want to do IVF. It gives us a higher chance of becoming parents. My questions are what should I know beforehand? Any tips that you know of for success?

Thanks.
