I am a Christian but my boyfriend isn’t. I go to the church every week but I’m not really like veerryy religious.. I’m just raised like this by my parents. So we’ve been dating for almost one year now, and we are still in love etc.. I am 17 and he is 19 years. But do I need to worry about our future? Like, do I need to date someone whom I would marry?? Because I’ve noticed that we both look up to life differently since I’m a Christian and he’s not. 
P.S. I’m someone with anxiety, so I get worried about those things very fast lol.

If you are going to go by the Bible then you should break up and date someone you're able to have a future with because otherwise you'll be leading someone on. I'm going by the whole unequally yoked portion. However if you do not truly believe in God and the Bible then you should do whatever you want.

With my husband he was a Christian and I wasn’t at the time we started dating. He never got serious with me and told me he wouldn’t consider even marrying me unless I had ever accepted Jesus and with his help and his church I was baptized and a new Christian almost two years now. If you’re a true Christian you won’t want to date someone who has no potential to accept Christ with you at some point. If you are just “not that religious” I’m not sure how you mean to be a Christian but not exactly follow him and the things you’re supposed to do... obviously people make mistakes I totally do every day so not trying to sound like a judgmental Christian I was 19 and believed whatever I liked for a long time but if you truly feel you are a Christian and want to follow him to the best of your abilities dating someone who will never be equally yolked with you is not the best idea. Just depends how serious you take your faith I guess!

I don’t see why the relationship wouldn’t work? I think you’re just stressing over nothing. I’m agnostic and I make it known from the beginning “if you’re religious and want to go to church etc that’s fine but don’t expect me to join you” 🤷🏾‍♀️ I’ve never had any issues. You can maintain a relationship with someone that doesn’t share the same religious beliefs.

The four topics that lead to a successful marriage vs divorce are: (1) finances and how you’ll handle money (2) in-laws and how you’ll handle them (3) kids - do you agree on having them/how to raise them (4) religion. I don’t think you necessarily have to be the same religion but you have to respect each other’s beliefs and be able to decide like if you have kids how will they be raised in terms of religion. If he doesn’t really care much then I’d say it’s no big deal. But if it’s really important to you to have a bf/husband with the same beliefs that will come to church with you every week then yeah he isn’t the one for you

Absolutely you can. You can share a mutual respect for each other's beliefs without agreeing.  I'm religious, my husband is not. Out of respect for me and my beliefs, we we're married under God. He even went through premarital counseling with me through the church.  
As long as you share morals, I think you're just fine.
