Sore nipples after tongue tie cut?

My baby had a posterior tongue tie which got cut 3 days ago when was 14weeks old. Today when feeding I'm noticing my nipples are getting quite sore, like way back at the start when she was a newborn.. any ideas why? Thanks.

Baby is getting used to the new mouth! You could switch up positions, make sure you’re latched correctly. 
Was tie clipped? Are you doing aftercare to make sure it didn’t reattach?

I would guess because now her latched has changed and she is sucking your nipple in a way they aren't used to. I would give it a little time to see if it goes away or make and appointment with a lactation consultant.
