Same thing happened to mine I cleaned it 24/7 but it ended up scaring so bad that it started to push my ring out. I had to take it out and let it close now it's a big old nasty scar that hurts. I was told my body rejected the metal.

It just looks infected. I’m very experienced with piercings. Please do not take it out or it will close up and seal in the infection and you will have to go to the doctor and get it lanced. Do warm sea salt water (table salt will do nothing) soaks 2-3 times a day and clean it with antibacterial soap such as dial at least once a day(for easier cleaning I got a qtip wet and wet my bar of soap and rubbed the qtip on the soap and then cleaned the openings of my belly button ring. You can also use bactine to spray on it if it hurts.
