Progesterone supplements - advice and success stories?

Hi ladies! We had a missed miscarriage in late May at 8 weeks. We’re now 4w3d with our rainbow! I had my first blood draw yesterday, HCG was 110 but my progesterone was a bit low so they put me on the suppository supplements. 
Has anybody else used these? How far should they be inserted? Mine didn’t come with an applicator haha. Any success stories using progesterone in your pregnancy after loss?

We had two losses last year so doctor suggested we use progesterone this time. 
I only started using them at 6 weeks (doc wanted to confirm heart beat first but we were going away on holiday for a week and bloods looked positive by then so we just went for it). 
I did not get an applicator with mine ( I read online that they don’t suggest using the applicator while pregnant) - and I found it really awkward to do myself. I actually had my husband insert them for me twice a day. I don’t think there is really a too high, just as far as the finger can reach??? They are a bit awkward to get in. I was told that I need to lie down for half an hour after. Also best to wear panty liners after. 
I took them until 13 weeks - I did notice that they made me feel more pregnant - nausea, some vomiting, the line between belly button and pelvis and more. 
We are now almost 17 weeks and our rainbow baby girl is looking great.

I had two losses last year.  On at 4 weeks and one at 8 weeks.  My obgyn said he'd let me try suppositories when I got my next bfp. 
I got pregnant about 5 months later.  I used the suppositories from week 4- week 10.  I didn't feel that different on them except maybe I felt more nauseous but honestly I've heard women who've had worse nausea and weren't on anything 🤷‍♀️
I had applicators.  I was on Crinone.  The suppositories were so clumpy when they came out.  Ugh I had so much build up lol it was like cottage cheese.  It can get gross and it's annoying but so so so sooo worth it! 
I put the applicator in halfway usually because I was scared of causing spotting.  But all the progesterone made it in there for sure.  
I'm now 17 weeks pregnant with a baby girl! 💕🌈🎀

I wish I had been given the awareness, advice and tested for prog levels as I feel it would of prevented me from just having my second mc today at 6w.4d...I mc in nov and told it happens and sent off.. told my dr I was going to ttc again and can I make sure my levels for pregnancy ie vitD iron etc to be good  to hopefully prevent any deficiencies that could lead to another mc. Not once did anyone think to check my prog level. I began cramping a week ago at  5 weeks, which they sent me for bloods 2 x that week till I began to bleed. Then referred to a early preg clinic to which I was told I had blood in my uterus and around the sac that had baby with a heartbeat and told I would prob mc. The I Was to have bloods done that day to see if hormone level were dropping again no mention of testing my prog levels, so I had to ask to test for that. Next day result came bk levels dropped and my prog was at level 5. Very low which prob was the cause of the mc as my body couldnt support the baby with such low levels and due to bleeding it was too late to take prog meds. Next day (today) bleeding and clots and ultrasound saw  I'm in the middle of mc and the sac has collapsed. I feel if my doct had thought to test me earlier when i started to spot or cramp I could of had a chance of saving this pregnancy with the meds.

I was on progesterone suppositories from 4-10 weeks. I had a loss earlier this year and my levels were low this time around so they immediately put me on it. I didn’t have an applicator and just pushed it up there as far as I could reach, it’s a little awkward but you get used to it. I’m now just over 13 weeks with my rainbow baby and everything is going great! Best of luck to you!
