Fibroid?

Question

Anyone heard or experience about fibroid submucosa? What are the symptoms? Went for a check up and the doctor said I probably has it. Need to go to the O&G for further check up. I'm so scared.. :(

I don't have this or pray to have it but my mom had it and I know one symptom of this is heavy bleeding during periods and period days are longer then usual

A submicousal fibroid is a fibroid that is growing right under the lining of you uterus. Symptoms include heavy bleeding and very bad cramping during your period. If it's big enough, it will protrude into the cavity of your uterus and can cause fertility issues - either because it blocks your tubes or interferes with implantation. I had a very large submicousal fibroid removed last year. Because of how big it was, I had to have a major abdominal surgery, but smaller fibroids can be removed laprescopically or transvaginally, which are much easier procedures. Talk to your doctor about what he/she thinks you need. Good luck! :)

I have fibroids ! Nothing to worry about ! Unless they are the size of a tennis ball or bigger they usually are left untreated ! Depends on size and location! Nothing bad ! Are you ttc
