Is breast milk considered vegan?

I mean breast milk is for feeding babies and it’s for humans, but I’ve heard some people saying that breastmilk is not vegan.
What do you think about that?

Breastmilk is vegan. I'm not sure why people are telling you other wise. The only reason it would not be is in certain religious ideologies. However, apart from this if people are telling otherwise they are just trying to make you feel bad or trying to act all high and mighty.

I only put no for the technicality of the vegan diet. No animal biproducts. Humans are technically animals therefore our milk would be a biproduct. HOWEVER, I think babies need human milk.

I think it's technically not vegan because it's not plant-based, but babies NEED it and there's nothing unethical about a mother producing it to feed her children so I see no reason why anyone would have a problem with it.

it’s technically not vegan as it isn’t plant based. however the ethics side of “veganism” is how it’s wrong we take milk from other animals as it’s not ours to take. that being said, we produce breastmilk and we understand what is happening as we give it to our babies. so me personally it is not vegan but i think it’s still okay to give your child.

All my vegan friends say if the subject you're taking product from can give concent to it then it is vegan, so if you were given permission to drink the milk it would be? Tbh I don't understand the logic behind that but I've been told it by many

As a vegan BREASTMILK IS VEGAN if it comes from a vegan. Only militant extremists would tell you it’s not we are willing and consenting and doing the biological norm for the child. It wouldn’t be vegan if it came from another dairy and meat eating mother technically. Anyone telling you no is wrong. We are mammals true but even vegans hold themselves to different regards (not by much).
