When for my weekly check up today before Hurricane Florence.

Found out I am 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced. When I asked if my mucus plug would come out before my water broke, the doctor told me I didn’t have a mucus plug anymore. She said she could feel my baby’s head!

First thing is, I never remember loosing my mucus plug. Not even a hint of it. Anyone else experience this?

Second thing is, I’m curious what you other ladies have experienced leading up labor? I was induced with my first and didn’t get to experience “going into labor”.
