Does your period start on time after heavy bleeding mid cycle?

I had some heavy bleeding on ovulation day and now my period is due today. Af is a no show but I’m wondering if this mid cycle bleeding had anything to do with it. Taking a test tomorrow to be sure.

That doesn't sound normal if it was heavy bleeding mid cycle I had a friend who had her period every 2 weeks for a few months because she switch birth controls and it messed her up. Maybe you had your period at what you thought was mod cycle
