How hard is it to become a nail technician?

It seems challenging but I’m up for it and think it’s a skill that’s always going to be hirable nowadays. Plus who doesn’t live nice nails! How hard is it and how long did it take you guys to master it? What’s the hardest part? What about unique things like nail art or acrylics? Any advice? Thank you! :)

You’re forever learning, even after school. You’ll never be a master of your craft,  because there are always new trends and new things to do. 
Depending on your state, you’ll have 600+ hours of practical school to complete before testing to get your license. The real fun begins after that. You’ll decide what is best for you — commission or rental based employment. You’ll learn how to properly create a business and keep your clients coming back. It’s far from easy. 
The first year at the very least, you are thrown to the wolves and you really learn what its like to handle people and to really do nails. 
Take as many classes and certifications as you can, for the rest of your career.
