Washing clothes before baby is born?

Do you wash only the newborn-3 month clothes or do you just wash all clothing sizes and get it all done at once?

I washed everything up to 6 months because I’m psychotic about cleaning right now. 😃

Bad mum club here but I never wash anything new and put it straight on. It’s new!  My four kids have been absolutely fine. I don’t have time for washing brand new clothes. My kids have no allergies and are rarely sick. I wash clothes when they have been worn. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I washed everything and so regret it. There are long sleeve footed pajamas that are in his size but he couldn’t wear as the weather was 90 degrees. I didn’t realize the size and what month it would be (some babies are bigger or smaller). I wish I had only washed the newborn through 3 month stuff. And returned the seasonal stuff that wouldn’t work.

I washed everything and then sorted it by size. I didn’t want to bother with returning anything 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I figure that we want to have more kids, so if this baby doesn’t wear them, another baby might. If we never have another boy, I’ll just pass the clothes along to someone else.

I only did newborn and 0-3 because I knew that once my daughter needed a bigger size I would end up washing them again after sitting in her closet and our basement.

I decided to just get it all done at once 🤷🏼‍♀️ it took about 3 loads but that covered everything from clothes, wash cloths, mittens/hats, bibs, sheets, swaddles, etc. I was exhausted after bc well I’m pregnant and I’m exhausted all the time, but I am so relieved to just have it all finished and put away! Good luck!
