So I took these test today I’ll be 9 weeks tomorrow... the top one is straight urine, the bottom one is diluted urine. Is this called the hook effect ? Why my test would come up a little lighter ?

As you get on in weeks & your placenta starts to form & eventually take over the second line will become lighter & eventually won’t appear. (According to my GP anyway)
I think I tested 5 times before my GP told me the above & said it’s ok your pregnant 🤰😂😂 but she totally got it, after 4.5 years of trying we were both in disbelief even though we were doing letrozole at the time 🤦‍♀️

Yes. Stop testing. The HCG gets too high and actually gives you lighter lines. So diluting it makes it darker again. Stop testing 😂

Mines at 7+ ended up going lighter and had two ultra sounds since and shows a healthy baby with a strong heartbeat.
