Any moms of females with any info???

Question

My daughter was complaining about her boobs hurting and she came to show me and her nipples are little red pebbles, the areola and everything is still tan colored as normal. I don't know if this is a reaction to something or onset of very early puberty......she is 8. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

My daughter is 8 and is starting puberty. It's scary as hell. Has not complained about pain like this but I would take her to a doctor. Just to be safe.

You might want to go to urgent care or call her doctor as soon as you can. While it could be the start of puberty causing pain and tenderness, it could also be an infection or something as simple as chaffing. If she's starting to develop or has recently gained weight, it could be something really simple.

I would just try A warm compress on them and hopefully it'll elevate the pain and help it go down until you can call her doc on Monday.
