Nervous wreck

Has anyone ever had melanoma skin cancer? if so how long did it take for your mole to change? I scheduled an appointment but it's not until the 20th and I am so paranoid about hearing bad news. I have some weird looking moles including an under the skin mole on the sole of my foot. I just want to see some pictures of melanoma that you have experienced to see if I have anything similar! thanks
