Need help ladies!
So this is my first cycle off the pill. Was on it for about 9 years starting when I was 17. So I really don’t even remember if I was regular or what my normal was. I know it can take a while to figure out your cycle after stopping BC, but just looking for some experience from some of you that have gone through the same thing.
So I finished my last pack of the pill, had my bleed, then just didn’t start a new pack. My normal bleeding at the end of my last pack was August 1-5. I then had a withdrawal bleed August 12-13. I then started using the clearblue advanced digital OPK just to see if I would even ovulate the first cycle. I got flashing smileys the 16th to the 24th, when I finally got my solid smiley. So I assumed I would be ovulating within the next 24 hours or so, which had me ovulating on cycle day 14. Which I know is the average time for a regular cycle. So I kind of got excited thinking maybe I’ll just go back to being regular. And to add, I also had very light brown spotting for a few hours one day around when I got the “peak” reading. So I just assumed I actually did ovulate.
My app was showing my expected period to be the 9th to the 13th but it never came. I’ve taken pg tests but all negative. Then last night and today (the 15th) I had super light brown spotting when I wiped. Only a few hours and it wasn’t constant. But I also had some super light cramping. But it felt like AF just much lighter cramps, but I still just 100% thought she was coming. Even wore a tampon to work because I thought the spotting was the beginning of it. But when I got home, absolutely nothing. Not even a spot. It has since stopped and the cramps also disappeared as well.
So I guess my question is could I have ovulated later and this maybe be implantation? I’ve read where women can have two LH surges but only actually ovulate on the second one. I stopped using the OPK after my peak result, so I don’t know if I got another surge or not. I guess the spotting around my peak reading is what makes me wonder what that was if I didn’t actually ovulate. But besides that, I counted back from when I first had the most recent spotting and I BD’d 10 and 12 days ago. So it would be in the right time frame for implantation.
Sorry for the long post. But if you made it this far, thank you so much for taking the time to read. I’m just looking for a little insight and hope!
