Using diva cup while ttc?

Has anyone used a diva cup and conceived using it? Like inserting it right after sex?

Since that’s not what it’s designed for and conception doesn’t require you to “plug” yourself, it would just be coincidental.

It wouldn’t work. Menstrual cups don’t get close enough to your cervix to hold semen close to it. Plus, sperm get where they need to as soon as they come out. They travel at like 35 mph so it doesn’t take long and there’s no need to keep them in there. Anything that leaks out is mostly proteins and other vitamins/minerals that are in semen. Studies have shown that elevating your hips/laying flat after sex doesn’t work so why would a cup? Plus it sounds like an infection waiting to happen.

I’ve heard many pl use soft cups to try and conceive raisers. They’re disposable.  Similar to menstrual cups but sit a lot higher up.  They go by a few names soft cups, instead and flex. I would give that a try instead of the menstual cups to try to up your chances.  I know soft cups was pursing an fda thing saying they can help you conceive.  They don’t have it yet.  They’re about 10 dollars for 14
