Tips on washing baby's hair?

I'm TERRIFIED of washing my daughters hair. I'm afraid water will enter her ears and give her an ear infection.. how are you mommy's washing your little ones hair?

You can get water in her ears she will be okay as long as she’s not fully submerged, try taking a bath with her, lay  her on your legs, use a cloth or a cup and wash her hair, good luck ❤️

My dr said getting some water in baby's ears won't cause an infection.   I have gotten water in his ears a bit and all that happened is he had more ear wax the next day or so.

I sit on the edge of the tub and put him in my lap and lean him back so the water runs off the back of his instead of down his face.. if that makes since?

I pace my hand in front of her face and can direct the water where i pouring with a cup to limit the amount in her ears. She has had no problems and loves having her hair washed and brushed. Hope this helps

I sometimes hold him, and then hold his head over the tub, then I get a wash cloth soaked and squeeze it out over his head. Then I get it wet again and wipe his head downwards towards the tub.

I’ve just poured water on both of my babies’ heads. I use my hand to shield their eyes. My 2 year old has only had one ear infection. My 3 month old hasn’t been sick yet
