So At 34 weeks baby girl was estimated at 6.7 lbs, and at 30 she was 4.4. So shes following a very typical gain of half a pound per week. At 40 weeks that should put her around 9 and a half pounds. My doctor told me if shes over 9lb at 39 weeks she automatically will do a c section. My best friend gave birth to a 10.8lb baby with no complications, I dont have diabetes and have had a super healthy pregnancy. I just dont understand why its automatic. My body created this thing, shes been head down and ready to roll since week 34, I almost want to try and stay home as long as possible with contractions because i dont feel its fair not let me try, I feel like I can do this, Im scared of a c section. But I dont want my baby at risk. Ive heard horror stories of babies getting stuck, and i know that obviously Im not a doctor but I feel like I should give my body a chance. Idk has anyone else experienced this
