Ingrown hair infection?

Sorry for the TMI post but I don't know what to do so late. Yesterday morning I thought I had a tick on my hip but my husband said no it looked like an ingrown hair. Took tweezers but no hair was there and then it just bled alittle. Within the last hour tonight it now looks like this- perfect circle around it. Of course my husband is freaking me out saying to go to the ER (I said absolutely not unless I suddenly have a fever) but curious if you've ever had this and what it was?? TIA!!!

Nah you'll be fine, just dab some alcohol and let it heal. If you're worried keep an eye out for any burning or irritation near the wound.

I had a spot similar on my hip. At first it looked like a white head and after I popped it, it started to turn black in the middle. I went to the ER and it was a spider bite. I would watch it and if it starts to ooze or turn black then go to the ER.

If it doesn't hurt if just leave it alone for a day or 2 and see if it starts looking better.. unless of course it starts to seem infected and pained.. I can't tell if the black is just dried blood or if it'd a blackhead of sort

My husband gets them ALL THE TIME. He has even asked the doctor why and it's because he sweats so much and his pores get dirty from the sweat. We just put neosporin on in to make sure it doesn't get infected. That's just my experience. Mind you, we're not doctors, but that's what we do. He gets painful ones sometimes too.
