Witch hazel?

Any STM use witch hazel for their recovery post delivery? If so, what brand and how?

I used it and dermoplast was amazing.

I used tux pads they are soaked in witch hazel you stick them in the freezer and use them like pads they definitely worked for the pain .

I put witch hazel, lavender and aloe on pads and then froze them. They felt wonderful ad really helped with recovery. I had these made and ready to go before I went into labor

I wasmt aware of these with my first pregnancy but I will be prepared this time. Going go pee was the worst thing ever postpartum. The squirt bottle of water helped but not enough.

Omg this post has brought back all the painful thought of my first pregnancy 😖. I had my hubby change the toilet seat to a soft one  I was in so much pain n the cold pads were like heaven n that squeeze bottle gave me life now I'm sitting here thinking oh crap I gotta go threw this again Soon I hope I don't tear again ouch 😕

I have no idea what this post is about. Witch hazel for what and when? I'm about to be FTM (God willing) in September. Please ladies explain so I can be prepared too 😳. Thanks.

I used witch hazel pads.... Their like little circles soaked in witch hazel that I would put on top of the pad I was wearing.... Also Dermaplast was my best friend and the Peri bottle after my 1st vaginal delivery (5 almost 6 years ago)... The hospital actual gave me the witch hazel pads...

Where do you find the witch hazel?

Women use witch hazel and aloe for post partum 'padsicles.' If that is what you're asking about, than any brand of witch hazel works...I have dickinsons.

My hospital had me use dermoplast and frozen newborn diapers...serious on the second part. We did it too. We put just enough water to get it all wet and froze it. When needed it was opened and used as a pad (with a cheap wash cloth on it to not stick to it).
