My SO is the boss over an area at work. Well my SIL works there also. I watch my nephew for her 2-3 times a week. Started a month or two ago.

Her and her bf and ALWAYS late..

I wake up at 5 make sure my SO is awake and I get ready and wait..

And wait..

And wait...

They should be at my house 6-7:30 (7:30 they will be a little late for work)

Well they don’t drop the kid off till 8:30-9 usually so I’m sitting around waiting all morning.

My SO called in today and since being the boss needed my SIL to be there and help out since. My SO never calls out.. ever.

So now my SO is worried she will get yelled at for not being there because my SIL is late so I said I wouldn’t worry she needs to learn if she gets in trouble she does but I also don’t want my SO in trouble.

They called her 7 this morning to wake her and her bf up... they said okay up..I’m cleaning the house getting ready for the baby while my SO rest. Then at 9 they call again... she still wasn’t up.

My SO then decided that they wanted to go get the baby to help make them get to work faster... and I said it was stupid because it’s not helping she decided to get up at 9...

So now my SO is on there way over there, on their only sick day, to pick up the baby so they can get to work faster (I don’t think it will be faster) and my partner won’t get as much trouble...

Is it sweet my partner is doing this to help or stupid because it’s encouraging them to be lazy?
