L&D question

I have a question might be weird... but took my sis up to L&D yesterday for contractions and they asked if she had walked up or took a wheelchair.

I’m guilty I made her walk...

I’m due November 18, she is due December 13.

For my first I went thru er and they took me up in wheelchair when my water broke. (I was embarrassed during it to) my second I walked up to L&D. And I plan on it with this one when my water breaks also.

But also my grandma had sent me a text saying I should have her use a wheelchair, but I didn’t see my phone until after we got up there.

What would you do and why do they ask that? Did I do wrong? Honestly just curious lol.
