I guess after 6 years my verbally abusive ex has left me alone. We consistently kept in contact because I was scared that he’d do something to me or himself If i left him or stop talking to him. Today he texted me and I just replied “who is this” and havent gotten a message back. I guess thats all it took. Im free from all the negativity.
