I like the name spelled Leonard, and actually considering it for a future son. With it being spelled Lynyrd, everyone is always going to associate your child with the band. You may like that idea, but your son may end up hating it. It's something that will follow him his whole life. Plus, he will always have to correct people with the spelling and spell it out when he tells someone his name. As someone with an uncommon last name, I can tell you that constantly spelling out your name for others gets real old real fast. Obviously my opinion means nothing and you should do what feel is best. Just thought I would throw my two cents in.
