Different sauces for pasta?

My 2 year old loves pasta and I’m trying to get new ideas for sauces without chunks and what veggies to purée to sneak in with them! 
* he doesn’t have pasta like every night maybe 2x a week if that*

My favorite is roasted red pepper

I've done yellow squash, zucchini, and carrots pureed into red sauce, and cauliflower pureed into Alfredo sauce. 
You can also puree some peas or spinach into pesto sauce since it's already green

Look up vegan cheese sauce! Usually you use a carrot, potato, nutritional yeast purée and it’s super tasty but secretly really healthy 😏

Lots of sauces have pumpkin or butternut squash in them now with Fall right around the corner!
