Second name is Alexander, just noticed I’ve seen a lot of mateos and wondering if the spelling would make the name a little different. I’m Hispanic so I do see a lot of people use the Hispanic version Mateo. What do you guys think I’m due October 19th. Heeelp!

I was going to name our baby boy Mateo I was stuck on it I love the name but then people started calling him mat for short and i didn’t like that at all!! But i love the spelling Mateo!

I wouldn’t change the spelling just to be different. Then your child will be the one who always has the weird spelled name instead a nice name that just happens to be popular.
