Is it realistic to commit to this wedding?

Hello! 
Due date is Oct 13th. FTM. 
Sister in Law’s wedding is December 29th, and I’m a bridesmaid! So baby will be around 3 months. 
My husband is not in the wedding, so he and the other family members could have the baby during the events. 
The wedding is 6+ hours away, might have to stay with friends of the bride because we can’t afford a hotel. 
 
Is it a good idea/realistic to commit to being a bridesmaid?

I would just make sure the bride has realistic expectations! You probably wont be able to help as much as the other girls and may need some breaks during the getting ready day (especially if you breastfeed). But otherwise I totally think you could do it!

Well...6 hour car ride, cold and flu season, staying with other people (do they smoke, have indoor pets, have kids at the house, up to date on flu and TDAP?). I’ve turned in to THAT mom so i would just tell her I wouldn’t want to back out last minute if something were to happen and I was keeping her best interest at heart.

You'll be surprised at how well adjusted you'll feel by then! It shouldn't be a problem especially if you have people to help you

Sister in law, as in your husband’s sister? I assume you will be going to the wedding either way, then, right? So it’s just a question of whether or not you want to spend the extra time and money on bridesmaid duties, taking the travel and staying with people out of the decision. I would just talk to the bride about your reservations and see what she says.

I’m due oct 6 and I’m a bridesmaid in a wedding in Phoenix AZ ( I live in CA) on feb 2. I’m stressing out about it too. She’s also having a bachelorette party in Vegas in January. I don’t know what to do.

Hmm idk.. i personally wouldn’t. Only because of the 6 hour travel with a new baby, but its totally up to you! :)

My due date is Halloween and I committed to being a bridesmaid right away in January. It’s not like I’ll be raging the night away, but I figure  as long as the bride is cool with me probably leaving the dance early and as long as the dress is super stretchy (hah!) it should be fine 🙂
