How Freguently Do You Get Ultrasounds?

I am 14 weeks 2 days today and I was suppose to have an ultrasound but my doctor was out today and I was told I do not get another ultrasound until 20 weeks. I havent had an ultrasound since 10 weeks and I was originally told they would be every 2 weeks due to being high risk in the beginning. So I'm just curious how often other women get ultrasounds cause I'm quiet irritated by the fact I wont see my son for 6 more weeks.

Most women get 1 or 2 during their pregnancy. Of course, being high risk generally means you will get more ultrasounds. You can go to a private scan facility if you want.

I had 9 by the end but i was high risked for cord clotting.  I had one at 8 weeks for dating, 11 weeks at ob office at first appointment with him. 12 weeks (had it booked from my 8 week scan was told by ob i didnt have to go but i wanted to see my baby) one at 18/19 for anatomy sxan+gender... then one at 26, 29,32 and 35 for growth  and one at 38 weeks to check fluid levels and cord flow.  
Ussaully you only get 1-3 scans depending on doctor. Ussaully forsure you get one are 18-20 weeks for anatomy scan (most important scan) then the one around 8-12 weeks to date... and then around end od pregnancy to check position of baby but ussaully most ob can feel if baby is head down or not. Even the student ob could tell my baby was head down (which i knew already because of scans all them  he was head dowm)

I am low risk FTM but I got one at 11 weeks, one at 13 weeks, and I go back in 4 weeks (17/18 weeks along) for the anatomy scan. Lots of ultrasounds with my hospital or maybe it's just by OB, she seems to love her job a whole lot. 
I've also done a private scan at 9 weeks when I was nervous, and I will go back to that one at 15 weeks. I'm having fun for sure lol

That’s pretty normal! I got one at 8 weeks then not another til 21 weeks :) I went to a private scan place and got one done at 16 weeks to find out gender :)

Every 2-4 weeks until week 28, then every week due to being high risk.
If your doctors aren't worried about rescheduling, I would take that as they are confident that everything is fine. Its okay to miss a few (even though I know that you want to see baby all the time)

In an uncomplicated pregnan y with no worries it's usually 1 or 2 to do the screening tests and anatomy check around week 12 and 20 respectively. High risk pregnancy will have more or if any bleeding etc. Some people opt to have additional privately paid for scans, we did at 7 weeks to check it was there and in the right place.

I had one at 7.5 weeks, 13 weeks and 18 weeks (emergency ultrasound due to abnormal blood work + anatomy). My insurance only covers 2-3 ultrasounds for a healthy/normal pregnancy, but I'm kind of considered higher risk now so I could possibly have more? Not quite sure yet!
