Aloe??

So, I've struggled with acne my whole life. The only time my skin was ever fully clear was when I was on the pill and newly pregnant. Somewhere around the 5wk mark my skin took a violent turn for the way worst... I feel like I'm 16 again!!!! My breakouts are plentiful and painful and I can't seem to shake them.

My dermatologist took me off all my face creams because they are labeled pregnancy X... And switched me to a fruit based one that doesn't work for crap.

Last night a friend of mine told me to try straight up aloe from the plant. I can get my hands on one but I'm hesitant to try this... Has anyone used aloe for anything other than a sunburn? Do you think it would clear up my acne?

I'm not sure about aloe. It's super natural and organic I don't see why it would be harmful. But what I did for my acne with my first pregnancy is I took lemon juice and baking soda and mixed it together to make a paste. Then I put it all over my face for about 10-15 minutes and then hopped into the shower and your face will feel soooo smooth and if you do that maybe 3x a week your acne will subside. I use diluted witch hazel. It has an odd smell but it works well for drying out acne.

Never used aloe for acne but tea tree oil is safe and does work fairly well.
