Like clockwork my munchkin slides into a heavy sleep regression the day of whenever they are “supposed” to hit. we are currently catching the tail end of the 18-24 month one. Before 18months we had a while of ahhhhhhhh mama gets to sleep the night....it was like BOOM MOM IM 18 MONTHS OLD TAKE THAT. i thought it was a fluke, but didn’t have time to really see because i had spinal surgery in april which but a lot of stress on my family. I couldnt do anything really as far as picking up or carrying the baby. Was forbidden by drs to ever put her in the crib or take her out of the crib. Which meant i needed someone for naps and bedtime. That was a nightmare. So i said okay let’s transition her to her toddler bed. This was done in July. She fell in love miss big girl! She always wants to play in her room now haha....cute right.....wrongggggg! someone thinks she is a little badass at night can get out do whatever she wants One of her faves is laying on her carpet making freaking snow angels🤦🏼‍♀️ or if i try and sit on the rocking chair she will go to her bed then to me back and forth million times before jumping on her huge stuffed bear in her room riding it like a little cowboy! Ayayayayay bed time has been ugh! Except on days she doesnt not nap. Here goes my next rant! The last three weeks little miss decided (for mommy) that she wasnt going to nap anymore. Which made for a cray baby but bedtime a sinch. She would just pass out (still woke at night) mommy went back to college three days a Week so grandma has the baby.......baby says “i do what i want i nap only for grandma in grandmas bed” yup there ya have it. wont nap for me but will for grandma ughhhhhh. Have been so stressed this week with night wakes, not being able to get her to nap but grandma can, classes etc that i now have a cold sore on my lip😩im 32 like reallyyyyy come on man😭 #donewithrant #throwingtowelin ohhhhhh did i mention she hates to eat now too!?!? All the foods she used to love se cares not for, eats when she wants and what she wants which consists of yogurt and waffles and “grandmas chicken soup”
