tounge piercing?

Not sure if this is counted as beauty I'm sorry if not. I wanna get my tounge pierced but is it really worth it? what's the pros & cons?

No don’t do it, personally I think it’s trashy and it also rots your teeth. I worked in a dental office and trust and believe it’s a no go.

I've had mine for 5 years and my teeth have been perfectly fine, the whole it ruins your teeth thing is BS. if you're worried about it, switch to acrylic once the healing phase has passed. pros, it's fun to play with and adds an extra sensation to oral sex (not skill...that's something you handle!). I can't really think of anything cons other than the first week after getting it done you need to eat soft foods.

I had one for three years. It receeded my gums on the front two bottom teeth. I also chipped a couple teeth. 
When people say it doesnt ruin your teeth thats simply not true. Its also not true to say the opposite.
Will it ruin everyone teeth no of course not. Will it completely make your teeth ruined no. 
Now you need to check if you have a overbite. 
I have a ever so slight overbite. My tongue doesnt have enough room as my bottom teeth crowd it. This is the reason it receeded my bottom teeth and also why I chipped some teeth. My anatomy was not compatible. I loved it too only pericing that healed perfectly for me but I had no choice but to take it out. 
Alot of people Ive talked to who have even the slightest overbite have issues with this peircing. 
Also it angers me when people start labeling you for having a tongue pericing. Its simply not true.

Im sure you wont have any issues. But just know that issues can happen. Its better to educate yourself on the what ifs before your do anything any ways. Even though the chances of it happening are low.

I loved mine and wish I still had it. I had to take it out for a job I had. For me the first weekend sucked. Really the first 3 days. Nothing really even helped me. But after that I had no problem.

Had mine for almost two years & I love it. Mine swelled for a few days, but afterwards, it’s been great. Besides having to get used to it at first, lol.
I think it’s a neat piercing & it can be easily hid!
