What did you do after an ectopic that ended up in a tube being removed?

Did you get fertility help? Did you find your cycles were different? How did losing a tube effect your cycle and TTC.  Can’t wait to hear from you guys. Talking with people on here is really helping me get through this day by day 💕💕Thank you , much love 💕

I lost my left tube last year around this time (September 7th, 2017). I got my period 4 weeks after the surgery and was cleared to start ttc right away. My doctor wasn’t worried about my fertility as I was a young “healthy” adult. We started trying the very first cycle we were cleared and we got pregnant that same cycle in October of 2017. We had our angel baby this July. Don’t lose faith, I remember searching the internet for success stories and it gave me so much hope. I hope this helped.

I’m currently waiting for my second cycle to start... my first cycle started about 4 1/2 weeks after I had the surgery to remove the tube.  Once my cycle starts again, I have to get an HSG done to check if my remaining tube is open. 
The dr did a chromotubation at the same time she did the salpingectomy, but the dye didn’t flow thru. ): She said it could be a result of trauma that’s why she wants me to recheck.
If it is blocked, then I’ll have to do IVF if I want to conceive... 😢 it’s been a rough couple of months... I’m sorry you’ve gone thru it too.

I lost my R tube Aug 5 from a ruptured ectopic and I got my period Aug 21. Had HSG Aug 30...period was due Sept 18, buuuuut it didn’t come. Because I’m pregnant. 🤷🏻‍♀️ My doc gave us the go ahead at my post op appointment which was Aug 21. She just wanted me to have the HSG done before we had unprotected sex to make sure my remaining tube wasn’t clogged. That procedure sure does work! Best of luck!!

I lost my R tube in July last year and we were cleared to start trying again beginning of September. It’s been a year now and nothing 😔 we have been seeing a fs for the past 6 months because my ectopic seemed to cause a hormonal imbalance. Still trying to figure it all out. Last month we went to a new fs who gave us hope but haven’t had a cycle there yet because of work. Just waiting for af and then I’ll have more time for appointments. I’ve gone from feeling positive to feeling numb. Don’t know how else to explain it. I truly hope you have better luck 🤞🏼 ✨

I had an ectopic at the beginning of May and lost my right tube. My period started around 4-5 weeks after. I then got pregnant around end of June so I must have ovulated like normal! We didn’t try or track at all so it was a complete shock!!

I lost my left tube February 2018. My cycles took a little bit to get back to normal. It took three cycles to conceive. I found out I was pregnant July 15th but unfortunately ended in a miscarriage on August 1st. I did not have a cycle in between and am currently 6+4 weeks and all is going well so far.

Oh dear, that has to be so hard. I can’t even imagine how hard that would have been to hear. I really hope it is working when they check next. I have heard lots of ivf success stories from all over as well though. That’s actually how my one nephew came to be. I’m rooting for you all the way.

I will be glad for my cycles to start again, I mean i feel lucky I’ll still get that. It means I’m working on some level!  I’ve binge read as much as I could and real people and their experiences just make more sense than studies
