How soon can you travel with a newborn?

I would like to travel to Florida from NJ for thanksgiving. I’m due October 19, is that too soon to travel with a newborn?

You can travel whenever. I dont think it's a great idea if you are planning on going by bus, train, or plane as it is cold and flu season and crowds tend to carry an awful lot of germs.

Whenever you feel comfortable! I never had a problem taking out daughter out and traveling with her even as a newborn.

I took my 2 week old to the beach 😂 we might be alittle crazy but whatever you feel comfortable with they’ll be fine. If you’re flying just keep them close to you (babywear) and if driving makes more stops.

Talk to your doctor. It might depend on how smoothly the birth goes, for both you and the baby. If it's a rough delivery, you might not feel up to flying, either.
