Is it normal to have period pains when you're not on your period?

I just got off of my period a couple weeks ago, and Ive been cramping all week like I'm on my period. And I'm not irregular. Help?

I just switched BCP and now have some slightly more aggressive mid cycle cramping... I like to think my uterus is mad because I still haven't put a baby in it and we are going on 13 years now of this whole period business... Sorry uterus, you'll just have to keep on waiting, husband isn't ready for a baby yet!
