Easy lactation recipe
Okay ladies, I made lactation cookies last week and although they're not bad, they took a lot of time and mess to make. So I figured I'd share my morning lactation breakfast with others. It's simple, you can make it every day and it takes less than 10 minutes (which is very much needed when your baby decides to start screaming in the middle of making it.)
Put your almond milk on boil for your oats, add a tablespoon of Brewers yeast, a tablespoon of flaxseed meal, and cook your oats until done. Throw them in a bowl over a banana, and top with Nutella. Make you a big glass of ice water to drink with it, and enjoy! If you're lucky enough to have a hubby at home who likes to help, have him scramble you a couple of eggs to go on the side. Pretty much every ingredient in the oatmeal recipe promotes lactation, I've gone from making JUST enough for baby to being able to pump an extra 2-5 ounces a day, and the fat content in my milk increased so she's staying fuller longer. Hope this helps another momma who's going crazy trying to get some milk in the freezer! 😊
