My boyfriend said he doesn’t like meaningless sex😕

So I asked him what he meant by this and he said he doesn’t like when it’s for no reason. He’s been wanting to be a father since he was younger , same for me. However I believe I may have PCOS and these few months trying has been hell . (I don’t need judgement that’s not what this post is about) .. he does enjoy sex , whenever it’s happening he’s enjoying it , caressing my face , all that lovey stuff . But the wait kills him and when I wind up with my period again, well that completely kills him. I felt hurt when he said this for some reason though, like I can’t give him what he wants 😪 and my sex drive is high so I want it all the time but he only wants it when he’s sure I’m probably ovulating 😕 idk how to take this 😂 I take it offensive for some reason but then I feel like I’m reaching too deep into it. What ya think?
