Is your August baby walking?

Question

My son has been walking with his push behind walker and along anything he can hold onto for a few months now but has no interest in walking without support. If he is standing up I will trying to get him to walk to me but he just sits down and crawls over to me. Any suggestions on how to encourage him to take steps on his own?

Girl my daughter is the same way. I'm not going to stress about it. She will walk when shes ready. Try not to be discouraged!

My son is finally walking!! Hes been walking for 2 weeks now but he still gets scared at times. But he’s taking very slow baby walks

My son does the same thing!! 😭😩 He’s sooo fast crawling he really doesn’t want to walk without help. He loves pushing his walker and grabs it all the time. And he pushes his other toys while standing.

My daughter started walking the week before she turned 11mo. Now, she’s full out running around and getting into evvvvverything at lightning speed 😩😂🤦🏻‍♀️
Genetically, she’s had some great leg strength from the get go. As soon as she was able to sit unsupported I would hold her hands/arms/upper body and “walk” around the house with her here and there. As soon as she started pulling herself up to a stand I’d start walking her around more, but would hold a hairbrush, toy, water cup, etc.. in front of her to try to guide her. Whenever she took one step just to fall over or fail at the step completely, I would cheer and clap like crazy and congratulate her.

my daughter was the exact same . she hated her push toy and never stood on her own . And put of nowhere last week she stood up and walked around the kitchen lol. Just a little hope for you , ! he just might surprise you :)
