We set up my son at a daycare which initially said they could cater to a vegan diet. Then week one they apparently couldn't. So I have been making his snacks and lunches, which shouldn't be a big deal, but I have to follow their menu as closely as possible -so he is eating similar things to the other kids- which requires I have a different muffin or pastry each day on top of large lunch items like lasagna or veg pie as well as PM snacks which could be breads or dips with this or that. As a full time student and single parent I just cant manage all this, but I also cannot back down on the ethical and nutritional choices I've made and want to raise my son with. As well I go in to breastfeed him before his nap and I dont feel welcome at all. As though the ECE's are annoyed that I dare be in their work space. Um. Sorry...

Anyway. I am so stressed and daycare was supposed to do the opposite!!! Anyone know any daycares in the Ottawa central area that cater to vegan families?!?!?! Help!
