Cloth Diaper Friendly Detergent?

Question

30 Weeks and 5 days with our little girl! The clock is on! I've  figured out everything I want yo do with  our cloth diapers, besides for one! Do you use a "Cloth Diaper friendly detergent"? Or do you just use regular detergent? Is "Cloth Diaper friendly detergent" a myth? I have Deft Detergent for her clothes, would that work for her diapers? What works best for you?? Thank you in advance!! 😊

Basically if it says it is cloth diaper friendly it won’t be enough to clean your diapers. Use a good main stream detergent and make sure you are using enough in your two washes and you’ll be golden.

I wouldn’t use deft or any cloth diaper friendly detergents!! Usually won’t get the job done! When using tide or anything main stream make sure it doesn’t have any additions such as Downey or anything like that. Make sure it’s just original detergent! 😀

Your cleaning human waste you need to use a good detergent. Dreft is fine just make sure your using enough to clean the diapers and do 2 washes.

I personally use seventh generation. It works great. But in our home we use only natural and cruelty free products. I use cloth to lesson the harsh chemicals my children are exposed to. So to me if I am trying to do that why would I use a detergent that is full of harsh chemicals and synthetic ingredients.

I just use the one from Aldi ( tandil sensitive) and haven't had any trouble

I tried at least 5 different plant-based and safe detergents and none of them got my diapers completely clean. I was doing a great wash cycle too! 
I switched to Tide and haven’t had a problem since.
