Period on week early?

Hi, I'm new to posting. Have been TTC for 2 years. Just completed 4 cycles of IUI with Clomid unsuccessfully. We decided to take this month "off" and try naturally. I used the digital clear blue ovulation sticks (high fertility/peak), starting on day 8 (26-27 day cycles). No watery, sticky CM noted (but chalked it up to Clomid). Peaked on day 12 (no high fertility noted). BD'd every other day until peak, then 3 days in a row, off one and last bd on 16. Then I started the 2WW. One week later I started spotting brown for 2 days, day 3 increase in brown discharge and  strong cramping, then period like flow for 3 days...thoughts?? I'm don't understand what is happening. How do I chart the next cycle? Thank you for any/all insight.
