Hormone treatment

So I recently found out that I do not create my own progesterone because at the age of 10 my mom had me on the highest dosage of hormonal birth control which went on for almost 8 years. So I have started to take hormones supplements. I don’t know if anyone else has been through this stuff but if you have or still are did the first few months you were on the hormones was your period early? And go back to Normal eventually? And any other advice you might have for me while taking these supplements would be great! Thank you guys for your help
