Soy Formula?

My almost 14 week old baby is becoming super fussy at times during the day. He will scream really loudly. I think it might be teething (as he has a lot of the signs including newly red cheeks). My MIL thinks I need to switch formulas and go to soy. She says that's the reason why he is fussy and has gas. He does have gas but I have been told it's normal for babies his age. 
Soy formula or not?

I dont see a reason to. If he would of had a problem with his current formula then the problem would of shown up along time ago. Its up to you though but i dont see any reasons to switch.

I would try the gentlease line of formula, it has worked wonders for my 5 week old. He is a lot less gassy and fussy. Beware that his poop will change colors, it was a little startling! Now if I could only get him on a sleep schedule.

I was always told soy formula should be a last resort. There are many reasons he could be gassy and fussy. Babies are all gassy anyways. Unless he's in pain with the gas, and his stools aren't what they should be, I wouldn't switch. 
Many other formulas are made specifically for sensitive tummies that aren't soy.
